Montessori learning spaces use natural materials in the classroom and in the outdoor environment.

To assist a child we must provide him with an environment which will enable him to develop freely.

Natural Classrooms

Our classrooms are bright and exciting environments for learning. Students learn through hands-on experience, investigation and research.

Natural Playground

Our school is an Ohio certified WILD school site.  It features a natural playground and our kids spend ample time in nature. We provide opportunities to learn about science, ecology, and the environment. Time in nature improves focus and concentration, reduces stress and frees up energy for retention, curiosity, and creativity.

Melissa Schultz nature preserve

The school adjoins with the Melissa Schultz Nature Preserve. This preserve entails six acres of woods and meadow, with a ravine and creek, dedicated to exposing children and families to the wonder of nature the principles of environmental sustainability.
